You know your hairdresser is important when you decide to take a last minute two and a half hour road trip to see her.  Or it could be out of sheer desperation.  Mine was both.  And my hairdresser happens to be dating my ‘baby’ brother (the 26 year old).  So thankful to have my own personal stylist in the fam!  🙂

The drive was on nice country backroads and a road trip wouldn’t be complete without getting behind a hay truck.

More scenery.

Uh…can you say loser fashion?

Of course a snack on the way.

And a picture I should have taken, but didn’t think about it until it was too late was a picture of the blue lights in my rear view mirror.  :/  He felt sorry for me I suppose and simply said, “Mrs. Alday, try to slow down next time and have a nice day”.  To which I shrieked replied, “Thank you, Thank you,  I appreciate it.”

I arrived at the salon and tried to act like a real customer whereas I’m normally having my hair done in the middle of my kitchen or either sitting in front of my bathroom mirror on my exercise ball.

Is this how normal customers act?

If you follow me on Facebook then you know that my dilemma was deciding about cutting bangs or not. Decisions, decisions!  I’ve only had bangs once and didn’t really like them….well, I liked them, I just didn’t know how to style them correctly.  Jessica reassured me that I could do it and she would come to my rescue if I needed her.

So…I decided to go with bangs!  Jessica blew them out away from my face, because the total goal was to *not* have hair in my eyes which results in a hair clip most of the time.

I’m happy with the results!

Love Jessica!

Then continuing on my road trip from there I made another one hour trip to spend the night with my sis and nieces.  Now keep in mind when most women get together for a night of fun, they may go out for drinks or to a fancy restaurant or something.  Not us.  We go to Whole Foods instead!!  I’ve never been to a Whole Foods and Stacy wanted me to have the full experience of the store!  When we got in the store she asked me where did I want to start.  My answer:  from the beginning.  :0)  Yes, I’m a total nerd.

This place is huge!

Where else can you buy any protein bar imaginable and a pair of Toms at the same place.  <3

I bought a few protein bars.

Did I mention I was a super nerd?

O Happy Day!

Do you have a Whole Foods near you?  What’s your favorite thing to buy from there?
