It officially starts today.
Over the course of the next three months, we’ll attend approximately 30 scheduled baseball games. This is not including added games, tournament or playoff games.
At first, we’ll sit in the freezing temps with portable heaters at our side, so wrapped up in blankets that the only thing you’ll see of us is our faces and cold, red noses.
Then in just a few short weeks the sun will be so hot over us, we’ll don our sunscreen and do anything possible to find even the smallest patch of shade.
We’ll travel all of the area, get home way too late and eat more hamburgers and sausage dogs than I care to anticipate.
We’ll sit next to the same front row of people game after game, chairs sitting so close that we can share each others cup holder and come to recognize if someone’s not there.
O Happy Day!
