I get so excited on Friday nights when I know that I can get up early on Saturday morning to run!

To prepare for the longer run, tonight I tanked up on protein and carbs for dinner.

Sauteed chicken breast with mushrooms, onions and spinach with couscous.  This chicken breast has a whopping 25 gm of protein in one serving!  Bring it!

A protein shake on the side.

This Muscle Milk shake is made with leftover coffee, 2 scoops of powder and vanilla Silk Soy Milk.

I lay out my running clothes so I can get dressed quickly in the morning.

And I put new insoles in my running shoes.

Now I’m ready!  I’ll see you in the morning!
