What happens when you watch the Food channel all day long, get really really hungry, go into the kitchen in search for something to eat that looks just as good as what you’ve been watching, then realize there is nothing in the fridge or cabinets that even remotely resembles what you’re looking for?

You go on a date night and let someone else do all the cooking for you!

Dinner was at Zea Rotisserie and Grill.

It’s casual, yet stylish and dressy all at the same time and I love the low, natural lighting.

Strawberry Kiwi Tea.  I stopped counting refills at number four.

Roasted Garlic Hummus to die for!  I seriously embarrassed myself over this.  But really…the warm, soft, melt in your mouth pita bread and the creamiest, best I’ve ever tasted hummus….I couldn’t help it!

I was near tears when our hummus platter began to look like this and I only had one pita left.

But the server must have seen the look of panic on my face and brought us more pita bread to finish up our hummus.  I love her.

My entree was Grilled Salmon with Roasted Corn and Potatoes.

And Sweet Potato Bread Pudding with Rum Sauce for dessert.  We were so stuffed and there was noooooo way we could have eaten dessert right away, so we got it to go.  😉

I love strawberry kiwi tea.

I love hummus.

I love roasted salmon and corn and potatoes.

I love roasted anything actually.

But I really love that I didn’t have to cook it or clean it up afterward.
