Sharing my day with you.
Breakfast was typical: Oatmeal with dried cranberries, a dollop of peanut butter and brown sugar topped with pumpkin seeds (pumpkin seeds are high in protein).
Shelby, Aunt Paula and I went bridesmaid dress shopping for Aunt Paula’s wedding next Spring.
While Aunt Paula was getting fitted for her bridal gown, Shelby and I entertained ourselves.
Lunch was at Chick-fil-A. Even though it’s fast food, there are still better choices always available. I went with the grilled chicken on wheat with a fruit cup.
Then we took Papa (Aunt Paula) to the Bobbi Brown makeup counter to have her makeup done for her.
By the time I got home I was really wanting something sweet to eat with nothing convenient in the pantry. So I had to pull out my
3 year old emergency stash of vanilla almond bark and get creative. Ritz crackers+peanut butter+melted almond bark=satisfied sweet tooth.
Yes, I’m sure there’s milk in there somewhere.
Yes, it’ll probably give me a tummy ache.
Yes, sometimes you just gotta do what you just gotta do.
