Today’s smoothie turned out….well….not necessarily green, but purple!  It was a nice, cool treat to enjoy after a hot afternoon at the ball park.

Ingredients included almond milk, plain yogurt, spinach, protein powder and frozen mixed berries (hence the purpleiciousness).

Tonight’s supper was an exact repeat of last night’s supper with an additional two carrots on the side (there were only two left in the bag-boo!).

What was in your green smoothie today?

Now I’ve gotta run, because The Biggest Loser is on and I don’t want to miss it!  It’s one of my favorites!  After watching it, I always feel like I need to go work out, or run, or bike ride or do aerobics for at least 6 hours!  These contestants do some killer workouts and are so motivating!

Do you watch it?  Who’s your favorite to win?!

  1. My “green” smoothie isn’t really green but it does include green veggies! Grape juice, carrot juice, zucchini, spinach (or kale) , ground flax seed, frozen berries (raspberries, blueberries and blackberries) and a little water (I like it a little on the runny side). It tastes great! My 8 year old daughter likes them too! (good way to sneak in veggies for picky eaters)

    • That sounds really good! I’m going to the grocery store today to get more ingredients.

  2. I watch the UK version…I always feel so motivated after…its a fantastic show 🙂
    Love your blog!
