Clark and I recently ran an old dirt road that winds its way down to the river. There’s honestly nothing like just getting outside and experiencing our {your} world.

This hour or so we spent one weekday evening truly culminates everything I love about running.

Just us and the gnats….all katrillion of them.

But seeing this made those annoying bull gnats worth it.

We then walked down to take a closer look at the river’s bank.

The Tombigbee River.

The only tracks (other than our own) that were left in the dry, cracked dirt were the deer, opossum and raccoon.

I hope you enjoyed getting a glimpse into my part of the country.  I know this running spot will become a favorite that I’ll need to visit more often.

Do you have a favorite running path?  Where has your running journey taken you lately?
