What better way to start your New Year than by building a strong foundation in your CORE!? As much as we’d like to think of our core as nothing but our abdominals, our core makes up so much more! Did you know that your core also includes muscles in the back, hips, glutes and legs! I know right!? Who woulda thunk it!?
But it makes sense though….it’s all of those muscle groups working together that provide us with stability and support, strength and movement.
Having a good, strong core can help reduce back pain and reduce risk of injury, help maintain good posture and improve athletic performance.
Start your New Year by building a solid foundation! Here’s a workout that specifically targets your core and you guessed it–perform 14 reps of each exercise and if you can only do one round then only do one…if you can do two,do two, if you can do three…you get the idea. At least I didn’t say do 14 rounds! 😉 Hola!
