With the heat of the Summer months soon approaching, so does the need to increase our daily water intake. Not only does infusing your water with fresh fruit create a fun, refreshing drink and help us get in the water we need for the day, but it also has some health benefits, too!  PS: Did you know lemons are a natural diuretic and appetite suppressant?  Just in case you missed it, here’s my post on The Benefits of Drinking Water (with Hank’s help of course).

A few of my fruit staples for the Summer are strawberries, oranges, lemons, limes, raspberries, blueberries, peaches and pineapples.  Mix and match those to create your own fruit infused water and well….you could probably create at least a kazillion options.  🙂

Just with what I had in the fridge, I’ve mixed strawberries + limes = strawberry limeade; lemons + limes = limeade and raspberries + lemons = raspberry lemonade.  Hola!

Do you drink fruit infused water?  If you do, I’d love to know your favorites!

Here’s also a peak into some good eats I’ve enjoyed lately.

Lots of roasted veggies.  I’ve had a recent addiction to halved cherry tomatoes with a drizzling of balsamic.
Squash and Zucchini meal prep >> don’t just make enough for one dinner!  Chop and cook enough for at least one more meal or two, or for lunch the next day.
Pan seared Salmon that was too pretty to eat off of a paper plate.
A beautiful spinach and strawberry salad to swoon over.  <3
